If i converting string type date to date type means the output show wrong.

Please refer my screenshot as given above , still you are using wrong option in field converter processor.

Your date string format is dd-MM-yyyyy and you are trying to convert yyyy-mm-dd and that was the reason its giving wrong value.

 

Please change the configuration as given below  and it will give you the correct date.
