How to generate the SCH activation Key?
Answer:
1. Connected to StreamSets VPN.
2. Open the following link https://activation.streamsets.net/#/activation?
3. Ask the customer the ID in order to fill the form requested above.
"Once you upgrade the SCH, please generate the Control Hub system ID by running the following command from the $DPM_HOME directory and provide it to us:
bin/streamsets dpmcli security systemId -c
With the system ID, we will be able to generate the license key"
4. Fill all the fields in the former in order to generate the activation key.
Also, remember to check the Expiry Date - Based on the user’s contract enter the expiration date for this license. --> *Please see subscription end date for the organization in Zendesk.
5. Download the activation key E.g. Rename the activation key to " rsa-signed-activation-info.properties ". Zip and email the key to the user with instructions on how to apply it.
