Pipelines can fail unexpectedly with a java.lang.StackOverflowError, java.lang.OutOfMemoryError, or may result in data corruption.
This is an issue that was introduced in StreamSets Data Collector 3.17.0 and will be resolved in StreamSets Data Collector 3.17.1, which will be released on August 14th at the latest.

If you have not yet upgraded to SDC 3.17.0 - Please wait for the release of SDC 3.17.1 to upgrade.
If you have already upgraded to SDC 3.17.0 - Please upgrade to SDC 3.17.1 as soon as it is available.
