ISSUE:
When one logs into the Dashboard Page of StreamSets Control Hub Cloud you get a prompt saying page is unresponsive.
SOLUTION:
If one creates a topology within the StreamSets Control Hub which has a circular loop, the corresponding Sankey diagram may go into an infinite loop which causes the browser to hang.
One needs to check the topology with circular loop and remove the link, after which the dashboard will load without any issue.
Please follow the below steps to correct the topology:
- Go to page https://cloud.streamsets.com/#/topologyApp directly instead of home page.
- Create a new topology.
- Close the detail pane (steps 2 and 3 are required to make sure the detail pane is closed by default so that the Sankey diagram won't be loaded upon opening the topology page).
- Go back to the topologies list page.
- If you have more than one topology with a circular loop, repeat the above steps for each one.
