Procedure for SDC/ST process while doing patching
Answer:
While doing the OS patching and OS restart we need to verify the below things before and after the reboot for Streamsets Data Collector and Transformer
Need to follow the below steps before OS restart
- Stop all the running pipelines
- Verify the Data and configuration Directory (Check the mount points)
- Stop the SDC/ST process
- Then, Do the OS Restart
- After the restart, Logging back to the server, check the Data and configs directory are correctly mounted or not
- Then start the SDC/ST service
- Verify the pipelines from the UI
