QUESTION: How to upgrade StreamSets service only on 1 node in CDH Cluster? Is it possible to run different versions of Data Collector on Cloudera?
RESOLUTION: Per our knowledge, Cloudera Manager currently does not allow partial parcel upgrade and therefore the StreamSets service will be upgraded to the same version on all nodes.
If you need to run a different version of StreamSets Data Collector on one of the nodes in your cluster, you can install a tarball or RPM version. However, this installation will not be configurable or manageable from Cloudera Manager.
