Question:
When trying to start a job, one might see an error message popping on the Control Hub UI "USER doesn't have permissions [EXECUTE] on object of type SDC" (Please see the example below).
Answer:
One can see the error when the user running the job does not have permissions on the Data Collector. By giving the execute permissions on the Data Collector for the user, they will have permission to execute on the Data Collector.
To add permissions to the Data Collector, go to SCH UI --> Execute --> Data Collectors and select the sharing icon (as attached in the print screen) and assign the "Execute" permission to the user.
